He is committed to helping others achieve their goals, whether related to fitness, nutrition, or achieving mental and emotional balance. James is father to 12-year-old twins, and tries to lead by example as a parent and in all aspects of his coaching and fitness work. He finds no greater joy than watching the look on someone’s face when they persevere and achieve their goal. “Wellness is happiness with who you are, what you do, and how you feel.”

She was reluctant to try CrossFit due to being so used to working out in a gym almost completely by herself. But once she started, she quickly fell in love with the sense of community that comes along with being part of Three Danes CrossFit. Nicole believes that Three Danes CrossFit is more like a family; one full of laughs, love, and lots of hard work.
Nicole loves pushing people and seeing them be amazed by their new-found abilities. She believes that people have so much to offer and are capable of great things; and that sometimes a little extra encouragement is all that is needed to help them attain their goals. What she loves most is that CrossFit is a never-ending challenge and each day you show up, you have a chance to grow, change, and become better! Plus, it gives her the strength to survive the dog pile snuggles every night on the couch.
Nicole can be found at the box; just look for someone eating, barefoot, holding a Starbucks iced coffee, or all of the above. She loves helping people feel comfortable and can’t wait work out with the next new member.

A military buddy introduced Carl to CrossFit 4 years ago and he has been hooked ever since. The level of difficulty and attention to detail that it required fit well with his, ahem, slightly obsessive-compulsive personality. Upon retiring from the police force in 2015 Carl’s innate drive to both improve himself and help others pushed him to get his Level 1 certificate. Having the role of a CrossFit Trainer allows him to share his love of CrossFit (as well as good food) with others on a daily basis. His goal is to continue his CrossFit education so that he can become an even better coach.
You will quickly find out that Carl loves a neat, orderly CrossFit box and he can often be found organizing things or straightening them up. However, this also allows members the opportunity to drive Carl crazy by moving things around or mixing them up. It’s all in good fun, and just another reason why Carl loves the sense of community that CrossFit brings to fitness and how everyone 'suffers' together during a WOD.

Marc has been doing CrossFit for over 4 years and is always looking to improve form and technique. He enjoys pushing his limits while attempting to master all of the many movements found in CrossFit. Throughout those 4 years, Marc could also often be found helping his fellow CrossFitters; whether it was a quick tip on form or help with an advanced movement. He even likes to torture...um…”give help with”... exercises to remedy any ailments or mobility restrictions. He loves the variation of the workouts, the community, and the fact that anyone can do CrossFit. It’s all about continuous improvement and Marc will help you be your best.

His respect for CrossFit methodology has only increased throughout the years, having found a healthier lifestyle and finally accomplishing his goal of earning his Level 1 Training certificate in late 2019. Some of his favorite movements include snatches, muscle ups, and low calorie rows.
To anyone who is reluctant to try CrossFit, Alex would tell you that there’s no other fitness program that has the community aspect, coaching, and support system. While other programs and gyms think the best numbers come from lifts, Three Danes CrossFit believes feeling healthy at any age and lower blood pressure indicators are what matters.

Then he found out he would have to do crazy things like burpees and box jumps, or even worse...burpee box jumps! He can often be heard saying ``What am I, a gymnast?!?`` when asked to stretch...or shouting ``DO GREAT THINGS!`` at members as they leave the box for the day after a class. He strives to improve himself every day as a coach, trainer, and as an individual, and is looking forward to meeting you and helping you meet and exceed your goals.
